Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager for our Dry Bulk Transportation division. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the overall management and operations of the division, ensuring the highest level of service to our valued customers.

- Responsibilities -

Operational Support:

• Assist in overseeing day-to-day operations of the Dry Bulk Transportation division.
• Coordinate and optimize logistics to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
• Work closely with team members to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Customer Relations:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for business growth and customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership:

• Provide leadership and guidance to the Dry Bulk Transportation team.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Assist in training and development initiatives for team members.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure adequate stock levels and timely replenishment.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to uphold the highest standards in product and service delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in the transportation or logistics industry, with a focus on dry bulk transportation preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of Gardner Denver mobile products is a plus.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in the transportation industry.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
