YOUR LIFE AS A DIRECT CARE PROFESSIONAL - DSP

These part-time and full-time habilitation positions with our nonprofit have several schedules to choose from. The flexible schedules available are 8:00 pm - 8:00 am, 9:00 pm - 9 am, weekends, and 24-hour shifts.

As a Direct Support Professional - DSP with our awesome nonprofit, you have the responsibility of working closely with each individual under your care and making sure their needs are met so they can live their best lives. Your day begins with the task of reviewing each client's individual support plan (ISP) and getting ready for any scheduled appointments or activities. In this caregiver position, you complete personal care tasks like bathing, dressing, and grooming, and you make sure they're taking their meds and eating well. Additionally, you have the ability to build lifelong relationships in this flexible role. You engage with the individuals you support in a variety of activities like going for walks, playing games, watching movies, or whatever their hobbies are. Because of your optimism, you create a positive and supportive environment that promotes their overall well-being and happiness.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU AS A DIRECT CARE PROFESSIONAL - DSP

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Driver's license with a clean driving record
• Desire to work with people who have developmental disabilities
