We've been retained by our client, a global leader in their industry, with an Operations Manager near Akron, OH. This position will be responsible for managing all plant operations and improving employee engagement. The successful candidate will be expected to find opportunities for building production processes, continuous improvement, building and maintaining employee relations, and the overall increase of operational efficiency. This is a high-impact position that will have the opportunity to play a decisive role in the future success and growth of the organization.

This position will in charge of about 100-130 total employees with about 4-5 direct reports. 

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of experience in operations leadership
• Prior experience leading, coaching, and developing a team and establishing KPI's.
• Warehousing and Inventory experience
• Fabrication and Assembly experience preferred.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required, Engineering degree preferred
• 5 or more years of manufacturing operations leadership
• Prior experience leading, coaching, and developing a team and delivering performance metrics
