Required work experience / education:

• Minimum of 2 years of management experience
• Bachelors degree
• Opening and closing duties

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting and training employees; maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities for all managers
• Achieve staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
• Establishes strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial, service, and operations information; identifying and evaluating trends and local events; choosing a course of action and evaluating outcomes.
• Analyses sales projections on a weekly basis. Accomplish objectives by planning events, projecting sales goals and executing events to meet those goals with management team.
• Maintains quality of service standards set forth by barleymash by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommend ways to improve our systems.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge of beer and liquor trends by attending educational workshops; establishing personal networks
• Daily maintenance of facility
• Daily accounting and records per shift
• Maintain a profitable pour cost / food cost
• Monthly participation in inventory
• Working knowledge of physical inventory
• Update (prices) working inventory sheets on a monthly basis
• Ensure that all product is accounted for daily
• Evaluate comps on a weekly basis and assure that they are being properly utilized
• Manager Notification of shift(s) change(s).
• Proper scheduling of special events including conventions
• Assist with Manager / Employee incentives
• Maintain constant education of staff on barleymash culture. Constant re-education of the menu (Food made with booze), our sips list, mason jars, our beer culture and of course the nuances of the facility we operate in.
