About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Integrated Marketing and Communications to join their Development Office management team. The successful candidate will be a key leader, bringing vision, extensive experience, and strategic skills to the role. This position involves leading digital and print communications, and planning and implementing marketing initiatives across various channels to enhance philanthropic revenue, event promotion, and brand awareness. The Managing Director will also be responsible for fostering donor relationships, creating prospect lead generation, and working closely with colleagues to ensure cohesive communication strategies. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree, with at least 10 years of progressive experience in development marketing and communications, preferably within an academic medical center or hospital, and a minimum of 5 years in a management role. The role requires a candidate with proven leadership and management skills, a commitment to continuous improvement, and a positive, collaborative approach. Superior written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. Experience with Blackbaud CRM is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong belief in the mission of the company and a track record of creating and implementing effective marketing and communications strategies. Responsibilities also include staff management, vendor relations, and contributing to the company's diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
