HJCC is seeking a Career Counselor to support residential and non-residential students in the Manufacturing trade, in the areas of personal and social development, career employment, and behavior. Provide individual and group counseling as well as crisis intervention to all students. Must function effectively in a fast-paced, often stressful environment. Heavy case-noting. Relentless micro-managing to ensure student needs are being met. Important to be organized, have excellent time management, and be a good colleague. Experience with older youth. Experience in mental health. Shift Mon-Fri 8-5. Solid benefits package. Salary: $55,000. Bachelor's degree required, with minimum of 15 credit hours in human services related subjects.
