Machine Programmer/Operator

Hart Industries is looking for a full-time machine Programmer/Operator to join the expanding team. Located in the city of Sterling Heights, Hart Industries specializes in CNC Machining and outsourcing solutions. Working as a strategic partner, Hart Industries can deliver precision machined component parts with the highest quality, on time. We are looking for a reliable, eager, hardworking individual who is good with time management.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years programming experience
• Ability to read blue prints
• Ability to use measuring devices (calipers, micrometers etc.)
• M&G code proficient
• Familiar with 5th axis machining
• Ability to learn on the job and independently research best practices for tooling and work holding
• Eager to continue education and learn new software and/or machining centers and accessories
• Work in a fast-paced environment with fast-changing priorities
• Ability to lift heavy material and stand for long periods of time

Job Responsibilities:

• 50% programming/50% operating
• Work from solid models, technical drawings, and engineering sketches to make parts per customers requirements
• Interpret specifications and verbal instructions to determine operation sequences
• Use calipers, micrometers and other measuring devices to check quality of work
• Program and set-up CNC machines (Fadal/Haas) with little to no assistance
• Write programs using Master Cam, Fusion 360 and M&G Code
• Provide written work instructions with a set up sheet for each job
• Detailed job documentation
• Maintain quality and safety of work environment

Pay: $23.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
