Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Deli Manager to join our team. As a Deli Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our deli department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high food quality standards. If you have a passion for food, excellent leadership skills, and a strong background in restaurant or kitchen management, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the deli department, including food production, inventory control, and customer service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
- Train and supervise deli staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as necessary
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate deli operations with overall store activities
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and employee performance
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a deli or restaurant setting
