Service Technician Job Overview: Service, troubleshoot and repair building automation systems

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting and repair of building automation system including Legacy and Web Control Systems.

• Able to work independently under the direction of the Service Manager.
• Able to perform Preventive Maintenance on DDC systems.
• Able to edit logic programs, graphics, edit site builder, and EDB.
• Troubleshooting and repair on network problems.

• Strong work ethic.
• Have worked on mechanical systems and have a good understanding of air handling units, and hydronic systems.
• Able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Must have worked with ALC systems for at least five years.
• Valid state motor vehicle license and safe driving record as required by company’s insurance provider.
• Strong computer skills.
• Have strong communication skills with customers

Our Founder Got It Right!

Harris Integrated Solutions, Inc., (HIS) was incorporated in 1965 by our founder Lloyd A. Harris on the principles of providing quality products at a fair price with prompt and reliable service. He succeeded in his mission to be a problem solving company and not a high-pressure sales company pushing a product. His legacy and principles continue to guide HIS today under the leadership of his son, Mike Harris.

Our Territories and Locations

HIS territories include South Carolina, Western North Carolina and Central Arkansas. With offices in Columbia, Beaufort, Charleston, Greenville and Asheville, we are able to serve the coast, central, upper part of South Carolina and Western North Carolina and now Little Rock, Arkansas.
