Harris & Bruno International (H&B), a printing equipment and spare parts manufacturer, is seeking a full time Landscaper/Custodian.

We are seeking an individual to landscape and conduct cleaning of a commercial property. The commercial property includes a machine shop and offices. This person will also conduct landscaping at a residential property. It’s estimated that during the Spring, Summer & Fall months 2-3 days would be spent at the commercial property and 1-2 days at the residential property. In the Winter this person would do less landscaping and spend more time conducting cleaning at the commercial property.

Functions:

• Daily cleaning of machine shop including wiping down machines, cleaning walls and pipes, and removal of trash and metal shavings.
• General lawn care duties like groundskeeping, and lawn maintenance including mowing, raking, mulching, weeding, fertilizing, edging, and pruning.
• Tend to flower beds using a sprinkler or irrigation system.
• Apply pesticide as needed for weed control.
• Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.
• Perform other cleaning work of machine shop and offices under general supervision and additional landscaping duties as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.

Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience landscaping and/or maintaining and cleaning commercial or residential properties preferred.
• Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the work site.
• Experience with a variety of hand tools and maintenance equipment.
