Harris & Bruno International (H&B), a printing equipment and spare parts manufacturer, is seeking a full time Technical Writer.
THIS INDIVIDUAL WILL BE EXPECTED TO:
- Write and edit technical documentation including user manuals, operation manuals, maintenance manuals, job aids, installation instructions, technical instructions, and other technical publications from document plans and style guides.
- Develop, recommend, and implement technical documentation processes.
- Document processes and assist other departments as needed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE (experience in one or more of the following areas)
- 1-3 years’ experience in Technical Writing minimum.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Word & Excel required.
- FrameMaker experience a plus.
- Some experience with 3D CAD software (AutoCad/SolidWorks) desired.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment highly desired.
- Some college desired.
- Ability to understand blueprints a plus.
- Engineering or related technical background a strong plus.
