EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST/PART TIME

Harold E. Pellow and Associates, Inc. (HPA), a consulting engineering firm established in 1969, is a seeking qualified . The HPA team consists of licensed engineers, planners, technicians and landscape architects and services public agencies and private clients on a variety of projects. As our firm aims to expand our market share and continue to meet the growing demands of our long standing clients we are seeking energetic, motivated and qualified people to join our team. HPA offers a wide variety of challenging opportunities including municipal roadway and highway design, civil site design, storm water management design, environmental permitting, parks and recreation design, and the design of water and wastewater facilities.

Position

HPA is seeking a part time Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. Will report to President and administratively support our engineering staff. Often the role is deadline driven and requires a person who is organized, multi-tasked oriented and good under pressure. Training will be provided by current administrative assistant to slowly transition role to the new administrative assistant/receptionist. Position most likely to move to full time status within 1-2 years. Current hours tentatively 9-2, M-F however may be able to accommodate different hours depending on the right candidate.

Candidate Specifications

We invite applications from candidates with the following experience:

· Minimum 3 years of experience working in an administrative role in fast paced environment

· Strong word processing & computer skills. Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office

· A ‘Welcoming’ demeanor as you are the first face client’s see and hear from our office

· Excellent time management, organizational, multi-tasking, & communication skills

· Contract experience and working with municipalities a Plus
