Harmons is Hiring an Assistant Kitchen Manager Near South Jordan, UT
$20.24 - $21.74 PER HOUR GENERAL PURPOSE:The purpose of this position is to assist the Kitchen Manager with ensuring that Harmons’ Kitchen department maintains quality standards and profitability. This person will be responsible for knowing all aspects of the full service Kitchen, helping train new associates, and providing exceptional customer service. This person will also determine production and inventory levels for Harmons’ Kitchen.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Follows established departmental and store policies and proceduresEnsures the quality and freshness of all products and services Harmons’ Kitchen providesResponsible for maintaining the appropriate product assortment and inventory levels for the KitchenConfirms pricing accuracy and signage for all products, paying particular attention to ad itemsEnsures the Kitchen is cleaned and sanitized daily and meets the company standards for appearanceDelivers excellent customer service to all customersOrdering product and creating production sheets to meet the needs of Harmons’ Kitchen based on past and projected salesActive member of the Safety Committee which helps ensure the safety of both customers and associatesCompletes assigned tasks efficiently and in a timely mannerSets a professional and positive example to othersCommunicates openly and frequently with Store Director and Director of Kitchen OperationsEnsures company standards for safety, sanitation, and productivity are maintainedTeaches, mentors, and educates associates to help them be successful members of the teamProvides honest, direct, and constant feedback to associates regarding their performance and areas of improvement; assesses associate performance and influences promotion, discipline, etc.Writing the Kitchen schedule to ensure coverage and meet labor goalsQuarterly inventory of all Kitchen productsMARGINIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs other job-related duties as assigned.NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS:Consistent and daily interaction with store associatesConsistent and daily interaction with customersTRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
