Description & Requirements

About the Role

As part of the Aftermarket Team, you will be responsible for supporting sales and operation activities for aftermarket and special markets, will work alongside their management team to develop business, and assist in dealer support. The position will assist in product definitions, product presentations, business cases, competitive analysis, and written materials that support the growth of our business unit initiatives while developing an understanding of customer and market needs. You will be responsible for assisting in forecasts, price guides, brochures, POP items, and event management. CRM (Customer relations management) and GTM (go-to-market) activities & technical support. You will be an integral member of our team to help meet customer expectations based on clear objectives from the business unit leadership.

What You Will Do

  • Sales and Operational activities & relationship management.
  • Go to Market functions.
  • Technical Sales support - Aftermarket, Marine & Power Sports
  • Managing Aftermarket tools & Assets (price guides, brochures, Web, and social media)
  • Manage and maintain local/national events.
  • Dealer-based education events - proficient in PowerPoint and/or Keynote

What You Need

  • 3 years of related consumer electronic sales, installation, product management, and marketing experience.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
  • Results and Detail Oriented: Holds others accountable for commitments.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite (specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Strategic Thinking: High aptitude for thinking outside of the box.

What is Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Preferred experience with Mobile, Marine, and Powersports aftermarket products
  • Demonstrated Track Record of Growth
  • Recognition and credibility with the customer as a trusted, collaborative, and productive partner
  • Social media management. FB, Twitter, etc.
  • Photoshop and/or InDesign experience.
  • Proficient in Spanish language.

What Makes You Eligible

  • Be willing to travel up to 25%, domestic and international travel.
  • This role is eligible to work remotely full-time with occasional trips to the office location required (this could be on 24-hour notice).
  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

  • HARMAN has different base pay ranges based on geography and work location within the US. The base pay range for this role is $82,800 - $101,200 applicable bonus based on California work location. In addition to the work location, an individual's base pay depends upon different factors, such as the job scope and impact and relevant skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
