Director of Nursing

Harborview Health Systems is currently seeking the professions top Director of Nursing Services for leadership opportunities for a skilled nursing facility in the Tucker area, GA. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the nursing staff in delivering excellent care to patients and offering quality support to the medical staff
• Ensure that each nurse on staff is properly certified and abides by the standards for care established by our organization and state and federal laws
• Create new policies and update existing policies to help improve the level of care for each patient
• Implement quality improvement programs designed to help us deliver the highest possible levels of service
• Ensure that all patient care plans have the documentation necessary to provide the proper type of care
• Review labs to assure they are completed as ordered and in a timely manner.
• Will oversee and supervise the clinical operation of the facility, providing guidance and teaching of staff as needed.
• Will submit weekly and monthly reports as required.
• Responsibility for assuring that orders are correctly in-put in electronic system.
• Address resident and staff concerns; completing an investigation and report as necessary.
