Responsibilities:

• Manages client-specific and internal projects focusing on parenteral product and process development, collaborating closely with Analytical, Product/Process Development, and Tech Operations teams. Presents scientific findings at internal and external gatherings.

• Executes assignments across various project teams, ensuring the completion of studies, activities, and milestones outlined in project plans. Develops and applies skills necessary for successful project and client outcomes.

• Conducts formulation, product development, and sterile product process development studies.

• Identifies and conducts analytical testing for formulation screening and selection.

• Develops and implements protocols for method evaluation, optimization of liquid and lyophilized formulations, various product presentations, and in-use product requirements.

• Designs protocols for compatibility and stability indicating studies.

• Summarizes study results and shares outcomes using best documentation practices.

• Collaborates with Lab Manager to oversee testing protocols and method transfer processes, conducting analytical testing related to formulation screening and selection.

• Develops and refines tools, systems, SOPs, and processes aligned with R&D and Ops priorities.

• Works closely with Lab and Process Development leaders to support the execution and documentation of testing protocols, method development processes, and testing parameters.

• Completes assignments within various project teams, fostering collaboration across R&D and Operations groups.

• Provides timely and accurate communications/updates to team members, project managers, business development, or management.

• Supports Business Development and Client Services groups by contributing to the writing, planning, and execution of formulation/method development projects for clients.

Qualifications:

• Masters or Ph.D. in pharmaceutics, chemistry, or a related field with the necessary work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in formulation development for pharmaceutical drug products.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant analytical laboratory experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or life sciences, or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong verbal presentation skills, capable of addressing both small and large groups, including prospective clients.
• Proficient in authoring formulation and testing service proposals, as well as written communications and reports.
• Familiarity with GMP, GLP, and R&D documentation, along with expertise in analytical testing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
