Our Preschool and Infant Center in Mission Viejo is looking for an energetic, dedicated, responsible and creative teacher to work in our Pre-K classroom as an assistant teacher.

The position is Full Time to cover the hours between 8:30 am to 5:30

Job Descriptions:
1. Conduct the daily activities of the classroom - assist in making lesson plans in keeping with curriculum, update monthly documentation on bulletin boards, and create portfolios for students.
2. Supervision of students
3. Maintain a fun, safe and clean learning environment in keeping with title 22 requirements
4. Clean and maintain classroom on a daily basis
5. Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will be one who will be attentive and encourage investigation and learning with age-appropriate activities and promote a rich and stimulating environment to keep our students engaged.

This job entails a lot of bending and lifting (30 plus pounds), and also requires someone who is able to work at a fast pace.

The ideal teacher needs to be patient, calm, loving and caring and able to interact and engage with the children and co-workers in the classrooms and in playground in a respectful manner, as well as be willing and ready to share the responsibilities of maintaining a clean and structured classroom and center.

QUALIFICATIONS:
*Minimum 12 ECE units. (including the core classes)
*Prior work experience in a license facility as a Preschool Teacher will be a plus.
*First-Aid and CPR Certified ( or willing to obtain ASAP )
*Fingerprint clearance on file with Community Care Licensing (or willing to obtain ASAP)
*Current TB Screening ( obtained within the last 12 months)
* Proof of vaccination for Measles and Pertussis
