Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate PNA (CNAII or CNAI plus) to join our team. As a PNA, you will provide essential care and support to patients in a healthcare setting. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals in need.
Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Assist with medical procedures, such as catheter care and wound dressing
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient behavior and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures
Experience:
- Previous experience in senior care or as a nurse's aide is preferred
- Familiarity with medical documentation and electronic health record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks)
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and techniques
- Experience in providing catheter care and hospice care is a plus
- Strong caregiving skills with a focus on patient-centered care
- Ability to work effectively in an acute care setting
