Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee beverages. Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and more
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Stock inventory and monitor supplies to ensure availability of ingredients
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or complaints
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Skills:
- Strong math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail in preparing beverages with consistent quality
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic food handling knowledge and adherence to food safety guidelines
- Sales skills to upsell products and promote specials
