Qualifications :

• This position would require basic math skills
• Requires lifting and carrying 15 -30 lbs. frequently and 80 lbs. occasionally
• Requires bending and twisting motions while carrying various weights
• May be required to stand in one place for long periods of time
• Must be able to work effectively on your own, as well as with other team members
• Must have a positive attitude and be willing to learn
• MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD OR OLDER

Daily duties and responsibilities but not limited to the following:

• Helping with fresh and smoked sausage production and other meat products
• Packaging and wrapping products and neatly applying proper labeling
• Grinding meat, seasoning and mixing according to Hansen's specifications
• Maintaining a clean working area in our State inspected facility
• Using cryovac packaging machines to package our production
• Using knives and other hand tools in a proper and safe manner
• Using grinders, mixers, stuffers etc. in a safe manner. ALWAYS following safety rules.
• Assembling orders for customers and accurately process paperwork for those orders
• Loading and unloading finished and raw product
• Assists with other duties as assigned

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
