Hansen Family Dental is Hiring a Dental Admin. Near Pasco, WA

No Evenings, No weekends, No Holidays . Admin team is done by 4pm Tues-Thurs and 2:15 on Fridays.

Overview:

At Hansen Family Dental, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the dental office by managing patient appointments and schedules, insurance confirmations, insurance breakdowns, and collecting. Must be motivated and able to fill providers schedule and recover appointments when needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Schedule and coordinate patient appointments taking into account dentist availability and treatment requirements.

2. Greet and assist patients in person as soon as they walk in the door or over the phone, provide excellent customer service and address any inquiries or concerns.

3. Maintain and update patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

4. Coordinate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient and positive workflow and optimal use of time.
5. Must be able to be a postive and upbeat member of the team with the ability to problem solve.

6. Confirm appointments and send reminders to patients via phone, email, or text message.

7. Manage the dental office's scheduling system or software, make necessary adjustments, and resolve scheduling conflicts.

8. Ensuring insurance verification is completed and entered into Eaglesoft correctly such as ID numbers, group #, and having the appropriate maximum and deductibles listed.

9. Review treatment plans and make financial arrangements.

10. Upload patient records from previous dental offices and send records as needed.

11. Maintain a clean and organized reception area and ensure a welcoming environment for patients.

12. Stock and organize the lobby and coffee nook.

Please note that responsibilities are not limited to the above and are subject to change.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 34 per week
