Job Summary

The BSA Analyst I is responsible for assisting with certain aspects of the Bank’s BSA/AML compliance program. They will review and investigate alerts and perform other BSA compliance duties as assigned.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review & clear low-risk alerts generated by the Bank’s BSA/AML transaction monitoring system. Escalate alerts to cases for further review in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of all Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) within the required time frames.
  • Review Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation for accuracy and consistency.
  • Analyze the data imported daily into the automated transaction monitoring system.
  • Stay current with changes in BSA and related laws & regulations.
  • Assist with other projects as assigned.
  • Assign and monitor ABA Knowledge Center Online compliance courses to staff and monitor the status of completion by bank-defined due dates.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Associates Degree preferred.
  • One year of banking experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities

  • Working knowledge and understanding of general banking principles. 
  • Strong internet research skills. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • PC literate with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel. 
  • Ability to work and contribute in a team-oriented and collaborative environment. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Hourly Range: $19.00 - $23.00
