Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work with individuals with developmental disabilities to implement behavior intervention plans and provide support in various settings.
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect data on client behavior during sessions
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with the treatment team to provide comprehensive care
- Support individuals in reaching their behavioral goals
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical records
- Familiarity with special education practices
- Understanding of behavioral health principles
- Ability to work effectively with people with developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
