POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for assisting in oversight and control of remarketing title staff functions, and other reporting and data management in support of the inventory management and sale processes. The primary objective of this position is the timely, effective and compliance processing of titles and title documents necessary for the sale of repossessed inventory.

This position works closely with external entities including vehicle auctions, state motor vehicle departments, and title-processing vendors, as well as various internal departments as both a service provider and service recipient.

The successful candidate is self-directed in work prioritization and demonstrates sound decision-making across a broad scope of responsibilities. This candidate should understand how team performance affects other functions and the company overall. All duties must be performed in accordance with Westlake policies and procedures, as well as any applicable state and federal regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor team performance for adherence to team policies and procedures
• Assist with account handling, as necessary
• Provide input on the development and implementation of process improvements
• Train staff for efficient and timely processing of department functions
• Help coach staff on points of improvement

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & LICENSES:

• Ability to work with time constraints and strict deadlines

• Familiarity with state-specific vehicle titling requirements

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Previous motor vehicle lien processing and/or vehicle title administration experience, preferably in the auto finance or retail auto sales industries

MACHINES, OFFICE EQUIPMENT & SOFTWARE:

• Daybreak or other retail consumer servicing systems.
• Web navigation and/or web-based applications.
• Personal computer: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

PAY RATE:

• $19 per hour
• The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
