We are seeking a Forwarding/COMAT Agent at Hanjin Intermodal America, Inc at Duluth, Georgia.

Responsibilities:

· Handling of inbound shipment

• Monitoring custom clearance
• Generating BOL
• Data entry
• Labeling and lifting involved

· Handling of outbound shipment

• Receiving of shipment – lifting involved
• Stripping boxes for necessary documents
• System entry – customs
• Generating export document
• Data entry
• Labeling and lifting involved

· Communication with vendors and customer

• Contacting vendors for necessary information
• Emailing vendors and customer for necessary information and updates

· Irregularities

- Price quotations

• Assistance with irregular inbound shipment
• Assistance with irregular outbound shipment
• Scheduling pickup and delivery
• Repackaging damaged shipment
• Re-crating damaged crates
• Consolidation of multiple shipment – shrinkwrapping

Requirements:

• No COMAT Agent experience necessary, in-training provided
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs
• Proficiency in utilizing computers, such as Microsoft office
• An individual must go through criminal background check to obtain an airport badge
• Must be able to renew airport badge on annual basis

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
