Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting orders to customers. This position requires excellent communication and organization skills, along with the ability to follow all traffic laws.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate your own vehicle
- Deliver food to customers efficiently
- Communicate with customers upon arrival
- Collect payment or credit card signature from customers
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
Experience/Skills:
- No experience is required
- Ability to use your car or phone's GPS to help you navigate the Amherst/UMass area
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Must maintain basic hygiene, dress appropriately for customers, and maintain order in your vehicle
Please note that this is a paid position at $6.75/hr, plus tips and mileage reimbursement. (During the hiring process, you can discuss the option to potentially earn more money in-between deliveries. Though this is not guaranteed.)
We are currently delivering 5pm-close every day (Tuesday-Sunday). These delivery hours may change.
You must have a valid, active driver's license, be at least 18 years old, have your own vehicle to use for deliveries, and have your own cell phone for communicating with customers.
