Always dreamed of working in the craft beer industry? We’re looking to add a brewer to our full-time brewing team in multiple locations.

Amherst Brewing Brewer duties include but aren’t limited to the following:

- Involvement with recipe development

- Sensory analysis

- Complete assigned tasks in accordance with company standard operating procedures and guidelines (SOP)

- Periodic handling of hazardous chemicals

- Keg cleaning

- Keg filling

- Weekly beer draft line cleaning/maintenance

- Assistance with canning line operations

- General brewery cleaning (tank exteriors, floor drains, floors)

- Grain bag handling

- Specialty beer bottling

- Wort production

- Yeast management

Physical Requirements

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch

- The employee must regularly lift more than 50 pounds

- Employee may be exposed to temperature changes, wet or humid conditions, noise, vibrations, and other brew production-related hazards when in the brew production and storage areas

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
