Job Overview:
Seeking Certified Aides that can work in:
Bronx, Yonkers, Westchester, and New Rochelle.
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs and restrictions
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Administer medication reminders
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Assist with medical documentation as needed
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care
Skills:
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Experience working in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or hospice care settings is preferred
- Proficient in cooking nutritious meals for patients with specific dietary needs
- Strong attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and ability to accurately record information
- Familiarity with medical documentation procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interaction
