Maintenance Technician

We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team and fulfill our vision of delivering unforgettably positive human interactions for all people. This is a part-time position, ideally 3 - 4 shifts per week, with rotating weekends.

The Responsibility: Collaborate with ALL hotel teams to deliver kick-ass guest experiences by ensuring excellent condition and proper function of guest rooms, general building and grounds. Contribute to maintaining a friendly and warm atmosphere for all people coming through our doors.

A few examples of what the ideal person for this role will do on a daily basis:

• Ensure comfortable accommodations by performing routine preventative maintenance in guest rooms regularly.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency, with the goal of completing all work orders by the end of each day.
• Supervise and coordinate external contractors for specialized repairs or installations.
• Strike up memorable conversations with people in the lobby
• Create a cozy haven for guests by noticing and picking up stray trash and debris
• Show kindness by assisting guests with navigating technology features within the guestroom or by offering a lending hand to carry luggage
• Anything else that you can imagine or that someone else might imagine!

You’ll also manage technical operations such as: Performing routine maintenance tasks, assist with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems. Maximizing room revenue by ensuring the upkeep of the guest room is in immaculate condition and all amenities are available and working properly, which will justify why people should stay at our hotel and pay our rates.
