Packaging Machine Operator

Job Objectives
Packaging Machine Operators run one of our automated packaging lines and assists with all shipments and warehouse operations. This role is also crucial for accurately maintaining warehouse inventories and ensuring the overall order and cleanliness of the warehouse.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the automatic bagging lines and palletizer.
• Keep accurate records and reports for inventory and assist with physical inventories utilizing manual and electronic tools.
• Ensure that the warehouse is in order and in accordance with the cleaning schedule.
• Other duties as needed or assigned.

Working Conditions Hours:

Full Time, 1st and 3rd shift available, non-rotating. Monday-Friday, 8hr days. Limited overtime as required.

• First shift Starting Pay is $20.50 per hour.
• Third shift Starting Pay is $21.50 per hour.
• Performance Incentive up to an additional $2.30 per hour.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to utilize electronic communication devices; employees will frequently walk, sit, stand, reach, bend, kneel, and climb (ascends and descends) and must be able to remain alert and present; must be able to lift 60lbs.; maneuver mechanical aids such as forklifts, pallet jack, hand truck, etc.; work in a dusty environment, work in a range of temperatures both indoors and outdoors and occasionally work in confined spaces.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of production or warehouse work.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal, communication skills.
• Must be physically able to perform essential job functions.
