JOB SUMMARY

The Manager - Employer Relations (M-ER) identifies and investigates partnership opportunities and designs employer engagement strategies throughout the service area to advance the organization’s regional presence. The M-ER owns issue resolution and follow-up using objective data to direct efforts and support the organizational strategic initiatives. M-ER oversees the Employer Outreach service by developing and maintaining partnerships with employers in the service region and acts as a liaison between employers and the System. In addition, the M-ER serves as the primary resource for the employer community for information, problem resolution, and general communication and education about the System and appropriate service lines. The M-ER will assess employers’ needs and collaborate with the appropriate leaders to meet the employers’ needs while expanding the employer outreach services. By providing these services, HHCS will solidify direct to employer strategies by helping employers promote a healthy workforce, lower absenteeism, reduce injuries, lower long-term risk and employee health costs.

  • Promote and market HHCS services to potential and new customers, and then assist in the setting up and management of Corporate Health accounts.

The M-ER works very closely with HealthOne Alliance/Alliant and Physician Health Services to coordinate efforts in employer relations, and coordination of employer communications occurring with the three employer-serving organizations. Additionally, the M-ER coordinates with the Whitfield Healthcare Foundation to develop support in the community for the Foundation and its mission.

Strong analytical skills are necessary for the M-ER. Ongoing analysis of referral trends, strategy implementation, and measurement of outcomes will be instrumental in addressing the ongoing needs of the employer community and service line development initiatives.

The successful M-ER will have an extensive background in sales, marketing, business development, or similar field and will have a record of proven success in meeting or exceeding sales and/or strategic goals.
