Hamilton Health Center is Hiring a Clinical Director Near Harrisburg, PA

What You'll Do:
The Clinical Director, in conjunction with the Chief Clinical Officer and Quality Director performs a wide range of duties, including, but not limited to the following:
Operations Management:
  • Direct and supervise site managers to enhance productivity and customer service in healthcare operations.
  • Oversee peer review processes and conduct annual performance reviews to ensure production, quality, and regulatory goals are met.
  • Maintain continuous improvement activities and staffing levels for clinical needs.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance patient safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and update clinical policies and procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate on staffing, scheduling, and equipment decisions for smooth department operation.
  • Assist in staff recruitment, job description development, and continuing education programs.
  • Investigate patient clinical complaints in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Ensure accurate charge capture and collaborate on clinical budget development.
  • Analyze performance data and implement action plans for enhanced site performance.
  • Revenue Cycle Participation: Contribute to revenue cycle efforts and expense management.
  • Capital Expenditure: Recommend equipment investments for patient treatment and safety.
Clinical Quality Assurance:
  • Implement NCQA standards and monitor patient and employee satisfaction.
  • Oversee quality initiatives and compliance with CMS and Joint Commission standards.
  • Ensure Joint Commission and quality regulations are met in collaboration with clinical personnel.
  • Monitor adequacy of laboratory services and maintain CLIA licensure.
  • Follow established protocols to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor staff compliance with safety regulations and Joint Commission standards.
Additional Duties
  • Collaborate with leaders to prioritize and implement information system enhancements and new rollouts for EMR stabilization.
  • Demonstrate commitment to established workplace values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of organizational mission.

Requirements:
  • Healthcare Knowledge: Minimum of 3 years’ leadership experience in community clinic or related healthcare facility.
  • Leadership Experience:
    • Experience managing multiple medically related sites.
    • Ability to clearly execute plans of action and communicate medical and dental regulatory strategies with all internal and external stakeholders, to include the Board of Directors, Senior Management, and Leadership
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in basic data entry computer skills.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Team Player: An industrious and cooperative nature to foster harmonious working relationships with clinic management, physicians, clinicians, and the public.
  • Education: Registered Nurse or CRNP with Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior CPR/First Aid certification
  • Minimum of 8 years of clinical experience in a community-based health organization, FQHC or non-profit
  • Knowledge of The Joint Commission regulations
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish, Nepali, French
