JOB SUMMARY
The Facilities Tech (I, II, III) is responsible for carrying out several duties within the Facilities Department to ensure that Hamilton is a clean and safe environment for employees, clients and visitors by providing security, light inside and outside hands-on general maintenance and general custodial services at all of Hamilton’s facilities in accordance with all regulatory guidelines and Hamilton’s policies, procedures and protocols.

The Facilities Tech I performs a wide range of duties, including, but not limited to the following:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Education/Certifications: High School diploma or equivalent, required.
Must have a valid drivers’ license, reliable transportation and current vehicle insurance to travel throughout the service area and able to work evenings/extended hours including weekends as needed, required.
Knowledgeable of HVAC and bi-lingual, preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blue prints and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with co-workers, internal and external customers, and outside contractors and vendors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING SKILLS
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/MOTOR COORDINATION
Requires hand-eye coordination; finger dexterity, and a combination of sitting, standing, climbing, stooping, balancing, kneeling, reaching, carrying, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 40 pounds).
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Exposure to routine medical office/health clinic conditions as well as adverse environmental conditions such as dust, temperature and noise extremes, etc. May be exposed to infectious or contagious disease.
