Job Title: CSLA Boys High School Assistant Coach

Summary: The Boys High School Assistant Coach will play a crucial role in supporting the growing CSLA athletic program by organizing, communicating, scheduling, and practicing with the team. Coaching experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in organizing practices and game schedules.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaches.
• Support head coach in implementing training programs and strategies.
• Foster a positive and competitive team environment.
• Supervise players

Qualifications:

• Coaching experience, especially at the high school level, is preferred.
• Knowledge of the sport and willingness to learn and grow as a coach.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Commitment to upholding the school's Code of Conduct, which emphasizes respect, responsibility, and fairness.

Expectations:

• Attend practices, games, and team meetings as required.
• Uphold the values of the school's Code of Conduct both on and off the field.
• Collaborate with the head coach and other staff members to build a competitive high school team.

Application Process: Interested candidates should apply online and include a resume of coaching experience. Applicants will meet with the school Athletic Director as part of the selection process.

Non-faculty Coaches and Classified Employee Coaches must complete the NFHS “Fundamentals of Coaching” and “First Aid, Health, & Safety for Coaches” courses prior to assuming the position. Coaches who have successfully completed the ASEP Coaches Education Course prior to May 15, 2013, will not be required to take the NFHS courses.
