Example of Duties:
Responsible for leading the activities of children that participate in the Recreation Center's Summer Day Camp by providing a safe and fun environment. Candidate will provide direct leadership of youth ages 6-13 in activities, games, sports, crafts, outdoor activities, and field trips. The selected candidate will assist in organization of camp activities, initiate measures to control behavior, maintain order, and interact with parents. Performs other duties as assigned. Approximately 20 hours per week, varied schedule Monday-Friday, late May through mid-August.
Typical Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. CPR/First Aid Certifications and experience working with children in a daycare of camp setting preferred.
