Bookkeeper

Halo Home Watch, LLC and Halo Home Management, LLC are established businesses providing varying Home Services and Vacation Rental Management Services in Naples and Marco Island, Florida. We are seeking a part-time bookkeeper to maintain our financial records including sales, receipts, payments, and payroll. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience. Experience with Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, sales tax returns, and payroll. Hours during a normal work week are expected to average 20 - 30 hours per week. Can work remotely but must be able to work in office several days a month. If interested, please submit your resume with references.

Requirements:

· 3 years’ experience as a bookkeeper/accountant.

· Must be proficient with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

· Solid understanding of basic accounting principles in processing and recording transactions.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

· Dependable, High Degree of Accuracy and Attention to Detail.

Tasks include, but not limited to:

· Bookkeeping/Monthly, Quarterly and Full Year.

· Journal Entries.

· Monthly Account Reconciliations.

· General Financial Reports and spreadsheets as needed.

· Biweekly Payroll Processing.

· Other accounting duties as assigned include processing receipts and payments.

· Quarterly and year-end federal and state payroll tax and sales tax reporting.

· Responding to various tax and insurance authorities’ requests including audits.

· Gathering financial information including preparing spreadsheets for year-end taxes.

Job Type: Part-Time/Contractor

Pay: 20.00-$27.00

Hours:

Monday – Friday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm. The last week of the month and year end will require additional hours and some weekends.

· BA or BS degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field
