**WHO WE ARE:**

The **Gold Crown Field Sales Team** is responsible for consulting Gold Crown retailers on all manner of product, merchandising, advertising, promotion, and service programs ensuring programs are placed as targeted and executed properly at retail. **IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:**

The **Sales and Support Specialist (SSS**) is responsible for a wide range of activities designed to support the Field Sales Team including program selling, leveraging washout reports to address gaps in program coverage, order management and processing, program resource, issue research and resolution, and other quick and impactful programs.

The SSS will engage in selling activities designed to supplement and support the efforts of the Field Sales team. These selling responsibilities will include but are not limited to selling season counter cards, identification of sales opportunities by analyzing coverage and washout reports, supporting geographical challenges, product program go-backs and time-sensitive company initiatives.

The SSS also analyzes, completes and processes orders for everyday products, seasonal products, systematic orders, promotional product orders and fixture orders, submitted by the field sales team.

The SSS uses marketplace and retail knowledge to determine the best assortment of items within a product line that will help the Independent Gold Crown retailers increase revenue and enable a better sell-through thus helping to increase the profitability of the retailer and Hallmark.

In addition, the SSS will complete special orders, fixture and market support orders as requested, as well as determine the most efficient and effective method of order placement ensuring accuracy and completeness. The SSS evaluates and analyzes the orders identifying inconsistencies, collaborates with the salesperson to recommend changes and completes the orders. The SSS collaborates with peers and their sales teams and internal partners to identify opportunities to improve program execution in the field and is the key internal contact for field accounts and field Sales Consultants.

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**

*The following is required to be considered for this role:*

* High School Diploma or GED

* 4 years of Customer Service or Sales Experience

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**

* Ability to multi-task

* Able to demonstrate analytical ability, quality decision-making and good judgment

* Working knowledge of the technology that supports Retail; inclusive of wholesale ordering systems such as COINS, POSR, etc.
