HallMark Global Technologies is Hiring a HRIS and Workday Manager Near New York, NY

Our presitgious client is seeking a HRIS Workday Manager will design and own the end-to-end planning and implementation of all systems initiatives and day-to-day systems maintenance within the Human Capital team. S/he will work across the organization at both a strategic and hands-on level while demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively with all levels and while driving a sense of urgency in the execution of HC systems initiatives with a high level of quality output. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-pasted environment that requires direct hands-on execution and an ability to manage multiple in-flight initiatives. We will look to this individual to introduce and employ approaches, deliverables and systems that are consistent with current market trends, appropriate to each function, and consistent with the firm's culture.

The Opportunity:

Their Human Capital function is significantly augmenting its Human Capital Information Systems capability. This role is suited for a candidate with an appetite to lead a high-impact initiative with significant strategic importance and visibility to senior leadership. Candidates with an interest in applying industry best practices to shape strategic functions involving Workday Talent, Recruiting, HCM, and Reporting will find this role appealing.

Strategy & Planning:

    Managing and owning the development and administration of Workday, our primary Human Capital management platform, to evolve current processes while enabling new capabilities and ensuring alignment with business objectives

    Elevating the function to achieve business goals by fostering innovation and coordinating the evaluation and management of all current and future HRIS initiatives across the organization.

    Establishing short-term and long-term strategies for optimizing the use of Workday for the organization. Ensuring the Human Capital team is continually developed and trained on Workday capabilities via close partnership with the Human Capital Business Partners.

Operational Design & Management:

    Utilizing and augmenting Workday to manage and develop end-to-end processes that support a modern, engaging, and satisfying experience.

    Managing the Workday platform to ensure a streamlined approach to data management and governance. Explore opportunities for continuous development of Workday Learning, Compensation, Performance, Payroll, Benefits, and Talent capabilities in accordance with routine Workday updates.

Leadership & Management:

    Supporting the execution of new systems initiatives and ongoing process enhancements.

    Partnering with stakeholders at all levels to define new HC system capabilities and craft new ways to embed Workday and technology-enabled people data/processes into the regular course of business.

    Promoting a deep understanding and adoption of HC systems by all parts of the Human Capital team to improve existing routines and finding new opportunities for process improvements,

    Influencing cross-functional teams in the design, development, and implementation of new Workday functionality or system enhancements through your subject matter expertise and in alignment with business and people management objectives.

Required:

    A demonstrated track record of success developing and applying quantitative and analytical capabilities.

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial and/or individual contributor role involving Workday systems implementation, systems support, and reporting.

    Strong understanding of HC processes and how they are supported by technology.

    Demonstrated success implementing and/or delivering new functionality in several of the following areas: Workday HCM, Workday Payroll, Workday Time Tracking, Workday Benefits, Workday Recruiting, Workday Learning, Workday Reporting/Analytics, Workday Workforce Planning.

    Versatility with hands-on configuration and maintenance of Workday during one or several implementations.

    Hands-on experience designing and implementing integrations between Workday and other peripheral applications preferable (Benefits Cloud Connect, Core Connector, custom EIB, or Workday Studio) preferred.

    Ability to rapidly learn and develop a superior understanding of the organization's goals, objectives, and culture.

    Prior experience with diverse organizations and environments (entrepreneurial start-ups to large, global firms) is a plus.

    Exceptional project management and execution abilities.

    Ability to set and manage competing priorities across several initiatives.

    Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    Ability to present ideas in a clear and cogent business-oriented manner and communicate effectively with leaders who are new to emerging HC technology.

    Exceptionally self-motivated and driven.

    Must be able to develop close collaboration with all team members to complete deliverables and meet operational milestones.

    Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities. Keen attention to detail.

    Exceptional service orientation and responsiveness to Firm Leadership and internal/external clients.

Desired:

    Bachelor's Degree in the field of Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or Engineering

    Prior Workday certifications preferred.

    MBA or Master's Degree

    Experience from a financial services or professional services environment with a Workday Implementation Partner.
