SUE Field Technician Tavares, FL Halff has an immediate opening for a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Field Technician in our Tavares, FL office.

• The SUE / Survey Technician will be responsible for assisting with the management of SUE / UC projects, budgets, schedules, and submittals;
• participate with marketing SUE / UC services both internally and externally; preparing proposals; coordinating field personnel;

quality assurance; and developing and maintaining client relationships. Additionally, the SUE / Survey Technician will report to a Team Leader with the potential to promote to a manager role.

Qualifications :

• General understanding of Utility Coordination processes
• Ability to become proficient in MicroStation V8i within 6 months.
• Ability to become proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D within 6 months.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Possesses meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent prioritization capabilities

Requirements

• Understanding of SUE standards and equipment
• Understanding of Survey mapping standards and equipment
• Responsible for producing and organizing utility owner records.
• Producing QL-D record drawings for field crews
• QA / QC of SUE projects and coordinating with utility owners.
