Hale Construction, Inc. was founded in 1979 by Ed Hale. The company is located in Morristown, Tennessee, not far from the Great Smoky Mountains. Most of our work is within a 75-mile radius of Morristown, the hub of East Tennessee’s bustling industrial community.

Duties:

- Day to day responsibilities of assigned job site

- Supervising employees

- Coordinating and scheduling material deliveries and subcontractors

- Daily quality control

- Filling out Daily Job Reports and employees time sheets

- Pouring footings, tying/reinforcing steel, forming/building concrete, prepping slab to pour concrete.

- Training for scissor lifts, fork trucks, etc.

- Operate hand and power tools

- Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles

- Follow instructions from project managers

- Adhere to and be responsible for safety guidelines and regulations on the job site

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in construction managing projects up to $10M required

- Pre-employment drug screen and medical exam required.

- Punctual and reliable attendance is a must

- Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)

- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors

- Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a team environment

- Valid driver's

- Read and interpret blueprints

- Estimate concrete, stone, etc.

- List of projects completed
