Halco Management is Hiring a Full Charge Bookkeeper Near Los Angeles, CA
West Los Angeles family-owned real estate company looking for an experienced bookkeeper. Primary focus will be on bookkeeping, with admin work as time permits.
Applicant should have at least three years of experience in Quickbooks and have a comprehensive understanding of accounting functions, including General Ledger, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Reconciliations, and Financial Reporting. Must have understanding of real estate and construction bookkeeping. Knowledge of AirBnB, Yardi, and tax preparation is a plus.
Applicant must be highly skilled in Quickbooks Enterprise and skilled in Microsoft Excel.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organizational skills who is able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full cycle bookkeeper
- Processing payables and cutting checks
- Preparing financial statements including bank reconciliations
- Reviewing invoices for accuracy, double payments, and out-of-ordinary amounts
- Entering month-end activity into property management software (Yardi Breeze)
- Entering payroll information into Quickbooks
Bookkeeper will be working full time in our West LA office and will receive 5 days paid sick leave and 1 week of paid vacation after 6 months of employment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 - $66,000.00 per year
