As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and elevating security across our environments. Working closely with functional-area architects, engineering, and security specialists throughout the company, the Cloud Security Engineer will ensure adequate security solutions and controls are in place throughout all haku information systems to mitigate identified risks sufficiently and meet business objectives and regulatory requirements. WHAT YOU’LL DO
Collaborate with security leadership, engineering, and compliance to execute security & IT strategies
Primary point of contact for troubleshooting issues on equipment; hardware, operating system, or software issues that may impact user productivity.
Management of asset (e.g., laptops, mobile devices, networking equipment, etc.) lifecycles; including procurement, provisioning or re-provisioning, and the decommissioning and/or destruction of assets.
Responsible for mobile device management program; including device enrollment program (DEP), provisioning, and compliance with security policy.
Responsible for the administration of the Directory Service, implementation of security controls, and the centralization of user identity and access management across the organization and all Cloud Applications and infrastructure (i.e., Federated authentication using oAuth or SAML integrations).
Audit user access in adherence with company policies
Manage security controls on cloud-native solutions; AWS Organizations, Governance, Web Application Firewall, Network Firewall, etc.
Manage security incidents; review cloud security events and logs
Manage cryptography and encryption for cloud-based data
Conduct threat simulations and perform application security testing for the identification and remediation of potential threats
Responsible for the identification, assessment, and remediation of vulnerabilities across all company assets and cloud services
Defining and documenting IT and cloud security policies and procedures.
Responsible for participating in disaster recovery procedures and exercises
Develop and maintain documentation and diagrams for security tools, system environments, and cloud operations.
Collaborate with the software engineering team to conduct comprehensive risk assessments of new or existing cloud services.
WHO YOU ARE
5 years of experience in IT and System Administration
Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Technology, or Engineering
Technical Certifications preferred but not required: Security , AWS, CISA, CISM, CISSP
Understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, Software Development Lifecycles, and Secure Coding Practices
Understanding of Cloud security practices for data protection and loss prevention
Familiarity with governance frameworks: ISO27001, NIST, SOC, CIS, or other frameworks
Familiarity or experience working with the following tools or similar:
Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Cloud Security Practices and principles (e.g., AWS SRA, CIS, etc.)
Scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.)
Source Control Management and Tools (i.e., GitHub, GitLab)
Zero-Trust Architecture concepts (e.g., CASB, Device-based Authentication)
Security and Governance Tools (e.g., SIEM systems,
Password Management (etc., BitWarden, LastPass, etc.)
