Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and present menus
- Take and process accurate food and drink orders
- Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and efficiency
- Process payments using POS system or cash register
- Follow all food safety and handling procedures
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests, kitchen staff, and management
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and procedures
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail for order accuracy and presentation
- Cash handling experience for processing payments accurately
- Ability to work well in a team environment
