The Steel Buyer will play a crucial role in optimizing and managing the procurement processes specifically related to stainless and aluminum products. This includes analyzing steel market trends, negotiating with steel suppliers and ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of steel products. This role will also play a crucial role in analyzing and helping manage all inventory, specifically focusing on dead and/or obsolete stock. This involves identifying slow-moving or obsolete inventory items, implementing strategies to minimize dead stock (such as negotiating favorable return policies with our vendors), as well as optimizing inventory turnover.
