Responsibilities

• Physical ability to perform a job that requires bending, stretching, and lifting moderate to heavy loads
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the facility - cleaning/restocking restrooms, cleaning examination rooms, pulling trash, vacuuming, dusting, break rooms, common areas
• Clean patient rooms using approved cleaners
• Empty and clean trash cans daily
• Excellent Customer Service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and visitors.
• Perform a variety of environmental services duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly and sanitary condition
• Carry beeper or phone, and respond to all requests for service
• Begin and close shift during absence of a manager and/or supervisor
• Assign tasks to other team members as needed
• Perform any and all other duties assigned

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• 1 year experience in hospital cleaning

Preferred Job Requirements:

• High School Graduate or GED
• Diploma from a vocational or technical program
