Hackbarth Delivery Service is Hiring an Independent Contractor- Cargo /Sprinter / Box Truck Near Houston, TX
- Cargo/Sprinter Van: $500.00 - $1500.00 per week.
- Box Truck 16’ - 26’: $1000.00 - $1800.00 per week.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy packages (Up to 50lbs).
- Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environments.
- Must be able to provide extraordinary customer service.
- Safely and efficiently operate a cargo van, sprinter van or box truck to deliver goods to various destinations.
- Ensure the secure and timely transport of cargo, following all safety and traffic regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients to coordinate deliveries and maintain a high level of customer service.
- Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Must be able to operate smart phone and GPS technology without aid.
- Occasional furniture assembly and appliance installations may be required.
- This is a 1099 position and contractors must currently own/lease a cargo van, high roof van, or a box truck.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Automobile Insurance Requirements:
- A minimum of 100/300/100 or general coverage of $1,000,000,000.
- Contractors must live within a 30 to 40-minute radius of the terminal.
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Must meet background and drug screening requirements.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of navigational devices.
- Professional delivery experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy packages (Up to 50lbs).
- Must be reliable and punctual.
