Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated, motivated and customer-focused Deli Associate to join our growing team!

As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and timely menu items to our customers while maintaining a clean and organized deli area.

Your primary duties will include:

Preparing and serving deli items, assisting customers with their orders, fulfilling their orders in an organized timely manner and ensuring all food safety standards are met.

Responsibilities:

*Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, including breakfast items, sandwiches and be able to prepare and serve hot food according to established menu items, recipes and guidelines. May also be chosen to assist in catering events and preparation. *Assist customers in selecting deli items, take orders efficiently and provide recommendations as needed. *Ensure the deli counter, seating area and display cases are stocked, clean, and visually appealing at all times. *Follow proper food handling procedures and maintain food safety standards to ensure the freshness and quality of products. *Operate deli equipment such as slicers, scales, and deli machinery safely and efficiently. *Have the ability to lift or push up to 50 lbs and stand for the length of the entire shift. *Handle cash transactions efficiently and operate the POS system accurately. *Take direction and be willing to grow within the company. *Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment. *Role Requirements: *Previous experience in a deli or have the desire to learn, provide exceptional customer service, charisma and food service, or customer service role preferred. * Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills. *Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. *Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices. *Must have the ability to work collaboratively as a team. *Must have reliable transportation. *Must be 18 or older. *Must have reliable communication and a working phone number. *Must have a detail oriented mindset with strong sense of accountability and reliability. *Self motivated team player with the ability to take direction and work collaboratively. *To currently have or be willing to obtain a food handlers card. * Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed. *Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to providing excellent customer service.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.00 - $18.00/hour.
