**Position Overview:**

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including cashiering, salesmanship, stocking shelves, and maintaining cleanliness in our convenience and deli environment. This position demands excellent cash handling skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of customer service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting patrons with their purchases and inquiries.
• Accurately handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining security and confidentiality.
• Stock and organize merchandise to ensure availability and presentation standards are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the store and deli area.
• Promote and sell a variety of products, including beer, wine, lottery tickets, convenience store items, and fuel.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities by assisting team members and fostering a positive work environment.

**Requirements:**

• Excellent cash handling skills and proficiency in consumer math.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Must be at least 21 years of age due to alcohol sales regulations.
• Open availability to work days, nights, and weekends as needed to support business operations.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods (up to 9 hours per day) and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in cold temperature environments.
• Reliable transportation and an active phone number for scheduling purposes.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability and reliability.
• Self-motivated team player with the ability to take direction and work collaboratively.
• Possession of a food handlers card is a plus.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $16.00 - $18.00/hour.
