H&T Nevada LLC is Hiring an Operations Coordinator Near Sparks, NV

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for assisting the leadership team in the coordination of work schedules and priorities for the Operations Department team. The coordinator will support production reporting, document control, time clock administration, headcount reporting and status update. This position will also facilitate the calendars and daily schedules, track actions items, schedule follow-up meetings and provide overall support for the Operations department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Assist in the daily scheduling of production work shifts and communication needs for the department
  • Works with supervisors and hourly staff to ensure employees actual time is recorded accurately; maintains a time off calendar
  • Oversee department roster and maintains accuracy, attend staffing meetings and assist HR & Production staffing needs
  • Assist with the onboarding of new hires, bringing them onsite, help with badging, biometrics, and documentation.
  • Involved with the training department, assist in the training matrix record, maintaining SOP’s, filing documentation.
  • Coordinate with department trainers and shift supervisors as to where assistance is needed.
  • Record, communicate and follow up on action items from department meetings
  • Help prepare the weekly reports and business updates for the leadership team
  • Coordinates tours and visitor travel arrangements, to include housing, transportation, and necessary meals
  • Oversee the accommodation for other facilities
  • Schedule meetings and prepare agendas
  • Collect data and prepare presentation for leaders regarding daily data
  • Provide monthly activities updates for communication to the facility; prepare and post general announcements
  • Coordinate IT hardware and software needs to the department
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality with information provided

  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • High School Diploma preferred, Bachelor’s degree a plus; minimum 2 years of related experience in a fast-paced office, preferably manufacturing environment
  • Team player, dedicated to overall company performance and the ability to get along with others.
  • Self-motivated with enthusiasm and drive; able to work independently as needed.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts if needed, to support 24/7 operation.
  • Ability to cooperate and work with related departments.
  • Flexibility to solve issues without fixed thinking.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment, as well as cross functional groups.
  • Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent computer skills in MS office Suite; able to put together proposals and presentations.
  • Able to learn new technology, must be detail oriented.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing operations.
  • Reliable attendance on-site required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Regularly required to walk, stand, and sit. Ability to occasionally lift (up to 25 pounds).
  • Must be able to work in an environment that is drafty, noisy, and dirty.
  • May be exposed to extreme noise from operating equipment.
  • Ability to communicate and listen.
  • Ability to perform calculations.
  • Ability to actively listen and read comprehensive documents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
