Hörmann is seeking an industrial Maintenance Technician II to work on our First Shift M-F 6am-230pm or 2nd shift 3pm-1130pm(OT when required) who will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing all plant systems and equipment. This position will be working with steel forming equipment including Hydraulic Presses, shears and roll former machinery. Candidates must have their own basic mechanical tools. Example: Wrenches, ratchets, pry bars, voltmeter, etc) All power and specialty tools will be available in the maintenance shop.

Education, job skills and experience needed to be successful in this position:
Knowledge: Working knowledge of electrical (single phase and three phase), electronic controls, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and tooling safe work practices and policies, plumbing and carpentry knowledge, building and equipment maintenance practices; lock out tag out best practices
Skill: Working with hand power tools, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment, strong problem solving and multi-tasking skills; using electrical testing equipment; safety processes and procedures; excellent customer service skills, proficiency with computers and software
Ability: To work independently with minimal supervision; read and understand technical/repair manual and vendor resources; install new machines; ability to learn new software
